I was proud to host Joanna Tomlinson, Principal Conductor of the National Youth Choir, in a practical talk entitled “Conducting for Singing Teachers” for the Association of Teachers of Singing.
Joanna led us through a practical session of conducting technique, followed by a lecture and discussion of the issues facing a conductor, and the particular challenges of conducting voices.
